WPIAL Football Scores for Saturday, September 28th

'Tis the season as we say so long to September football and get ready for October football. Its time for the annual school ritual of Homecoming Weekend. Most schools still play their Homecoming football game on Friday night as part of a weekend of festivities, but a handful of schools go throwback and play their special games on Saturday afternoon. Shaler, Shady Side Academy and Burgettstown were three of those schools that helped make this a rather busy fifth Saturday on the high school football schedule. Here are all the results, with all four WPIAL games archived here on the MSA Sports Network.
