WPIAL Class 5A football roundup: Kyle Dupill runs for 240 yards, 5 TDs, as Franklin Regional rallies past Plum

Franklin Regional overcame an 11-point halftime deficit to earn a 45-26 victory over Plum in the Class 5A Big East Conference on Friday night.
Kyle Dupill ran for 240 yards and five touchdowns, and Ayden Hudock had a 65-yard TD run for Franklin Regional (4-2, 1-1). Sean Franzi threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a TD for Plum (2-4, 0-3).
Gateway 63, Hempfield 21 — Brad Birch threw for 247 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 121 yards and one TD to lead Gateway (3-3, 3-0) over Hempfield (1-5, 0-2) in Big East Conference play. Jaquan Reynolds added 103 rushing yards and two touchdowns for Gateway. Dominic Detruf threw for 221 yards and one touchdown and ran for another Hempfield score.
Peters Township 49, Baldwin 6 — Peters Township (6-0, 3-0) defeated Baldwin (1-5, 0-3) in an Allegheny Six Conference game. Peters Township has outscored its opponents this season, 232-20.
North Hills 50, Fox Chapel 0 — Jack Martin ran for 107 yards and two touchdowns as North Hills (2-4, 1-2) blanked Fox Chapel (0-6, 0-2) in Northeast Conference play. Connor Davis threw for 139 yards and three touchdowns for North Hills, which outgained Fox Chapel, 385 yards to 76 yards.
Penn Hills 28, Bethel Park 12 — Julian Dugger threw for 136 yards and one touchdown and ran for 39 yards and two TDs as No. 2 Penn Hills (5-1) defeated Bethel Park (2-4) in nonconference play. Penn Hills limited Bethel Park to 114 total yards.
