WPIAL and City League girls basketball players ranked on state Class of 2020 list

PAGirlsHoopsReport.com recently released its list of the top 100 players from the Class of 2020, and a sizeable group from the WPIAL and City League made the cut.
North Catholic 5-foot-10 guard/forward Tess Myers, a Duquesne commit, fronts the the local group at No. 7.
Myers earned Class 4A first-team all-state recognition from the Pennsylvania Sports Writers after a 2018-19 season that saw her average 20 points a game for the Trojanettes, the WPIAL champions and PIAA runners-up.
Teammate Kylee Lewandowski, a recent Richmond commit and all-state honoree, is No. 13. The 6-foot-1 guard/forward averaged 15 points and six rebounds last season.

Also in the top 20 are Gateway forward Lexi Jackson (No. 16) and East Allegheny guard Amaia Johnson (No. 19).
In all, 42 from the WPIAL and City League made the list.
