Westmoreland County football players to watch in Week 2

Nathan Roby

Hempfield, jr., RB/DB

Roby is a speedy and shifty running back capable of breaking long runs and catching passes from quarterback Blake Remaley. He has tallied one touchdown this season. He and the Spartans will host Norwin on Friday.

Jake Sever

Yough, sr., QB/S

Sever will be looking to take pressure off running back Dustin Shoaf. So far this season, he has completed 13 of 32 passes for 260 yards and four touchdowns. He has thrown two touchdowns in each of the first two games. The Cougars host Mt. Pleasant on Friday.

Caleb Lisbon

Penn-Trafford, jr., WR/DB

Lisbon is a do-it-all athlete for the Warriors. He has seven catches for 124 yards, has rushed 31 times for 108 yards, has thrown a pass and has scored one touchdown. As a sophomore, he rushed for 814 yards, caught three passes for 53 yards and scored 15 touchdowns.

Zakharee Williams

Latrobe, sr., WR/S

Williams is off to a good start to the 2018 season. The senior was the Wildcats’ leading receiver in 2017 with 22 catches for 448 yards and seven touchdowns. This season, he has 10 tackles on defense and has three catches for 67 yards and a 49-yard touchdown.
