West Allegheny AA Runner-Up in 2010 PIAA Girls Volleyball Playoffs

It was a rough state postseason for District 7 teams. Only one WPIAL team survived the first three rounds to qualify for a championship match berth. WPIAL Class AA third-seed West Allegheny made it to the finals, only to fall in three games to District 1 champion Merion Mercy. Landisville Hempfield in Class AAA and Reading Holy Name in Class A also captured state golden crowns with wins Saturday afternoon at Central York High School. Here are ALL the results from the 2010 PIAA Girls Volleyball Playoffs.
