One week is in the books in 2024 as the high school basketball regular season inches closer to the midway point.
There were few changes from last week’s inaugural Trib HSSN boys basketball rankings across the PIAA.
Some teams lost but held on to their top 5 spot based on who they lost to.
There were four teams not as fortunate, including two schools from Class 5A.
While Radnor and Manheim Central exited, Gateway and Central Mountain entered the state rankings.
At the top, there was only one change among the No. 1-ranked teams as Roman Catholic in 6A, Imhotep Charter in 5A, Bishop Guilfoyle in 3A, Constitution in 2A and Imani Christian in A remained on top.
The one change came after a clash between powers on either side of the state as District 12 power Neumann-Goretti beat District 7 and defending state champion Lincoln Park by 15 points, as the two flip-flopped and the Saints took over No. 1 while the Leopards fell to No. 2.
