Once again, the power teams in WPIAL softball finished strong.

Last week, there was only one change in the softball power rankings.

This week, outside of one team moving up two spots and another falling two spots, the Trib 10 remains the same.

A strong field is set to begin battle next week in the 2024 WPIAL softball playoffs.

There was more movement on the baseball side of the power rankings this week, although like softball, nobody dropped out.

Both Penn-Trafford and Mohawk fell but remained in the Trib 10 after being swept in section series by Franklin Regional and top-ranked Riverside.

The top of the power chain remains the same with Riverside continuing to hold the top spot all spring in baseball, while Hempfield is No. 1 for a second straight week in softball.

Here are the latest power rankings for the 2024 season. Teams are listed with overall record and last week’s ranking. These weekly rankings have zero classification boundaries.
