After three rounds of the WPIAL basketball playoffs, there were major changes as expected in the weekly Trib 10 power rankings.
The biggest changes were on the girls side, which had been pretty steady through the last month of the regular season.
Four girls teams dropped out of the power rankings, replaced by four teams that are still vying for district gold.
There also was a change at the top after Oakland Catholic suffered defeat for the first time this season in the WPIAL 5A semifinals. The Eagles are the only team in either rankings that is not playing this weekend at The Pete.
Norwin takes over the top spot in the girls Trib 10 while the Lincoln Park boys team continues its season-long lock on No. 1.
The boys had three teams come in and three free fall out after losses in either the district quarterfinals or semifinals.
Here are the latest Trib 10 basketball power rankings. Teams are listed with overall record and last week’s ranking. These rankings have zero classification boundaries.
