WPIAL baseball lost another undefeated team earlier this week when Hempfield lost to Canon-McMillan, ending its 11-game win streak.
That leaves seven district baseball teams that have not lost this spring with North Allegheny, Thomas Jefferson, Riverside, Waynesburg, Serra Catholic, Carmichaels and Union still undefeated.
There is also a magnificent seven in WPIAL softball.
Midway through April, Seneca Valley, Shaler, Elizabeth Forward, Southmoreland, Neshannock, Jeannette and Frazier still have not lost in 2024.
While there was a little movement in the baseball power rankings, the 10 teams remain intact.
Softball saw two teams drop from the Trib 10, opening the door for Armstrong and Trinity to feel the power.
At the top, it still remains Riverside in baseball and Seneca Valley at the head of the softball table.
Here are the latest power rankings. Teams are listed with overall record and last week’s ranking. These weekly rankings have zero classification boundaries.
