Springdale dominates Summit Academy to stay unbeaten

After what has become a customary sluggish start for visiting teams at Summit Academy’s Steve Sherer Field, the Springdale Dynamos put it all together for a 26-point second quarter and cruised to a 40-14 victory Saturday afternoon.

Highlands coach Fran Rogel watched the final seconds tick away during his first game with the Golden Rams, a 14-6 loss in 1971. The former Penn State and Steelers fullback had come to Highlands from just-closed North Braddock Scott.
