North Allegheny boys volleyball is back in its customary spot as the WPIAL team to beat.

Albion’s Abbie Miles (Laurel), West Liberty’s Grace O’Korn (Peters Township), Grand Valley State’s Ana Malovich (Butler) and Baldwin-Wallace’s Leyna Rumpler (North Allegheny), all WPIAL graduates, competed in the 2025 National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships.

For the first time, former WPIAL girls wrestlers competed at the National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships in Iowa. For the last time, they did so outside of the sport being an NCAA-sanctioned championship.

LEWISBURG — North Allegheny had already wrapped up the Class 3A boys team title before the Tigers’ 400-yard freestyle relay of Danny Lesinski, Zach Totin, Dylan Seiford, and Grant Regule took to the pool for their finals race Saturday evening at the PIAA swimming championships at Bucknell University.

LEWISBURG — All four WPIAL divers entered in Saturday afternoon’s PIAA Class 3A boys championship at Bucknell’s Kinney Natatorium were in medal contention with top-eight places heading into the final round of three dives.
