Running for 4,000 career yards isn't as rare as it used to be. Forty-seven players have done it in WPIAL history, and 40 of them have reached the mark since 1990. But when North Allegheny's Alex Papson reached 4,000 yards last week, it was a rare feat, at least when you consider the competition.

We reached the final stop on this years trip on the Highway to Heinz. It was Semifinals Friday around District 7. 16 teams entered Friday's action with dreams of playing at the big house next Saturday dancing in their heads, however those dreams only became reality for eight of those football teams. Ryan Gil and NA Teammates Golden in PIAA Cross-Country Championships
