Several wrestlers return after reaching PIAA Class AAA tournament

Returning PIAA Class AAA champions
Alejandro Herrera, Seneca Valley (46-8 last season)
The sophomore won the 106-pound state title and placed second in the WPIAL.
Sam Hillegas, North Hills (32-1)
The junior is a two-time PIAA champion, winning the 126-pound title in 2018. He has a 85-1 career record.
Ryan Sullivan, Shaler (42-1)
The senior won the 113-pound PIAA and WPIAL titles in 2018. His career mark is 93-10.
Returning PIAA Class AAA placewinners
Kyle Burkholder, Hempfield (40-5)
The senior placed third at 113 pounds in the WPIAL and PIAA tournaments in 2017-18.
Colton Camacho, Franklin Regional (40-3)
The senior won the WPIAL title in 2018 at 132 and finished second in the PIAA.
Cam Connor, Kiski Area (40-5)
The senior was the WPIAL 145-pound champion who finished seventh in the PIAA.
Nick Coy, Penn-Trafford (31-9)
The senior placed second in the WPIAL and fifth in the PIAA tournaments at 132.
Jacob Ealy, Hopewell (37-6)
The senior placed fourth in the WPIAL and fifth in the PIAA tournaments at 126.
Gerrit Nijenhuis, Canon-McMillan (44-6)
The junior placed second in the WPIAL and third in the PIAA at 170 pounds in 2017-18.
Scott Joll, Belle Vernon (42-5)
The senior was the WPIAL 170-pound champion and placed fifth at the PIAA tournament.
Ty McGeary, West Allegheny (38-10)
The junior placed fourth in the WPIAL tournament and sixth in the PIAA at 152.
Kurtis Phipps, Norwin (39-1)
The junior is a two-time WPIAL champion and PIAA runner-up in 2018 at 106.
Max Shaw, Thomas Jefferson (27-3)
The senior placed third in the PIAA and WPIAL tournaments at 182 pounds in 2017-18.
Jake Slinger, Upper St. Clair (36-5)
The senior placed second in the WPIAL and seventh in the PIAA at 220.
Cole Spencer, Pine-Richland (32-6)
The sophomore placed second in the WPIAL and eighth in the PIAA at 152 pounds.
Luke Stout, Mt. Lebanon (35-7)
The junior placed fourth in the PIAA and WPIAL tournaments at 160.
Gabe Willochell, Latrobe (35-8)
The junior placed third in the WPIAL and fifth in the PIAA tournaments at 126.
Other returning WPIAL champion
Jack Blumer, Kiski Area (39-9)
He was the WPIAL champion at 152 pounds.
