Seton LaSalle’s Khalil Taylor commits to Penn State

Khalil Taylor, one of the top-ranked sophomores in Pennsylvania, plans to continue his football career at Penn State.
The Seton LaSalle wide receiver made a verbal commitment to the Nittany Lions on Saturday afternoon, announcing his plans on X after making an unofficial visit this week.

Taylor (6-foot-1, 185 pounds), a four-star recruit according to Rivals, followed up an all-conference freshman season by leading the Rebels (11-1) to the WPIAL championship game this past fall. He caught 51 passes for 932 yards and scored 22 touchdowns.
He was voted all-conference for the second year in a row and was tabbed Century Conference player of the year.
Taylor joins McKeesport running back Kemon Spell in Penn State’s 2027 recruiting class. Spell is rated Pennsylvania’s No. 1 sophomore, with Taylor at No. 2, according to On3 rankings.
The Nittany Lions have also received verbal commitments from juniors Matt Sieg from Fort Cherry and David Davis from Imani Christian.
Taylor also had offers from Pitt, West Virginia, Akron, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Nebraska, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple, UConn, UNLV and Wisconsin, among others.
