Seton Hill swept a baseball doubleheader against No. 1 seed Millersville in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional on Saturday and advanced to the Atlantic Super Regional for the third consecutive season.

The Griffins (40-16) knocked off the talented Marauders (44-10), 7-4 and 8-2. They will face the winner of the West Chester site beginning May 23 at a site and time to be determined. West Chester is seeded No. 2, East Stroudsburg is seeded third and Fairmont State is seeded sixth.

Weather has caused delays. Fairmont State is 1-1, East Stroudsburg is 1-0 and West Chester is 0-1. West Chester was playing Saturday night.

In Game 1, Owen Henne homered and drove in three runs, and Colin Ahr drove in a pair to back the strong starting pitching of ace Jon McCullough (9-3) who worked into the sixth.

The Griffins scored three runs in the third inning and four in the fifth to build a 7-2 lead.

Relief pitchers Evan Rossi and Zach Herb kept the Marauders scoreless. Herb struck out Keegan Soltis with the bases loaded in the top of the eighth inning.

In Game 2, starting pitcher Julian Minaya tossed six scoreless innings to improve to 6-3.

Seton Hill took a 1-0 lead in the top of the seventh inning when Gage Wheaton singled home Mark Black.

The Griffins extended the lead to 3-0 in the eighth inning thanks to two Millersville errors.

Mike Williams hit a two-run homer, his 18th on the season, for Millersville to trim the Griffins lead to 3-2.

But the Griffins put the game away with a five-run ninth inning. Henne drove in a run with a hit, Matt Frazetta plated two with a hit and Black walked with the bases loaded.
