PONY League World Series begins in Washington County

Welcome to the 2023 DICK’S Sporting Goods PONY League World Series! Be a part of Washington County tradition by watching as the world comes to Washington for an exciting baseball tournament.
The 71st annual event will be held Friday through Wednesday at Lew Hays PONY Field in Washington, Pa.
This year’s tournament will feature Washington County, Pa.; Paderborn, Germany; Edogawa, Japan; Managua, Nicaragua; Monterrey, Mexico; Bay County, Mich.; Palmview, Texas; Youngstown, Ohio; Manchester, N.H.; and Covina, Calif.
Festivities at the ballpark will happen all week long, with several nights featuring promotions that you don’t want to miss.
Mascot Night will be Saturday, at the 2023 DICK’S Sporting Goods PONY League World Series. Festivities will begin at 3 p.m. Guests young and old will have the opportunity to interact with some of the most popular mascots in the Pittsburgh region. Come out to Lew Hays PONY Field and meet your favorite mascots.
Military and First Responders Appreciation Night at the 2023 DICK’S Sporting Goods PONY League World Series will be Sunday. All active-duty, veteran, reserve and retired service members and first responders can show identification at the gate to receive free admission.
The World Series will host its first-ever Youth Night on Monday. All kids 14 and under will receive free admission when wearing their youth sports or organization jersey to Lew Hays PONY Field, courtesy of Pathways of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Pirates Night for the 2023 DICK’S Sporting Goods PONY League World Series will be Tuesday. Come out to meet the Bucco Brigade and your favorite Pirates mascots.
