The Polynesian Bowl, which included a WPIAL football player in last January’s game, announced a national TV deal with CBS.

The CBS Sports Network will televise the national high school all-star game this winter, organizers revealed Thursday. This will be the third year for the game, which is played at Aloha Stadium in Oahu, Hawaii.

The event, created in 2017, is held annually during enshrinement week for the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame.

Aliquippa’s Kwantel Raines was picked for last January’s game. No Pennsylvania players are listed on rosters for the Jan. 19, 2019 game .

NBC broadcast the U.S. Army All-American Bowl last winter and ESPN2 televised the Under Armour All-American Game.
