Peters Twp and Sewickley Academy Duo’s Win 2011 WPIAL Girls Doubles Tennis Gold

Two weeks after crowning singles champions, the WPIAL crowned a pair of first time champions Friday afternoon in the finals of the 2011 WPIAL Girls Doubles Tennis Championships at North Allegheny High School. Stephanie Smith and Sara Komer of Peters Township won the Class AAA crown in straight sets while Logan Antill and Caroline Ross of Sewickley Academy took home Class AA gold after a straight set victory.

Here are ALL of the results from both the Class AAA and Class AA tournaments played Thursday and Friday afternoon.
