Peters Township’s Makenna Marisa earns All-American honors from MaxPreps

Peters Township’s Makenna Marisa earned All-American honors from MaxPreps which named the senior as one of the nation’s Top 50 girls basketball players.
Marisa was named as a sixth-team All-American.
The Penn State recruit averaged 20.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists as Peters Township (30-0) won WPIAL and PIAA Class 6A titles.
Neumann-Goretti’s Diamond Johnson was the only other Pennsylvania player to make the list. Johnson earned honorable mention.
