North Catholic’s Nikhai Hill-Green, one of the WPIAL’s top football players, said Friday that he’s transferring out of state.

Hill-Green announced on Twitter that he’s headed to St. Frances Academy in Baltimore. The standout linebacker ranks third among the state’s football recruits in the 2020 graduating class, according to Rivals. He holds nearly a dozen Division I offers and added Syracuse earlier Friday.

“I have officially withdrawn from North Catholic High School and will continue my career at St. Frances Academy,” Hill-Green wrote on Twitter.

St. Frances Academy finished last season ranked No. 4 nationally by USA Today. The football team played a national schedule after unhappy MIAA opponents cancelled games.
