North Allegheny to induct 22nd annual Hall of Fame class

The 22nd annual North Allegheny Hall of Fame banquet will be held Oct. 4, at the Chadwick.

The Class of 2018 includes, Dennis Boyle (soccer, basketball), 2000; Kelly Carioto (field hockey, track and field), 2008; Aimee Dassner (softball), 2006; Sean Gil (track and field), 2007; George Hendrickson (cross country, track and field), 1972; Greg Hendrickson (cross country, track and field), 1972; Duane Holler (wrestling, posthumously), 1970; Connor Kuremsky (diving), 2011; Pam Murphy (swimming), 1996; and Scott Sobkowicz (cross country), 1988; Wes Waldschmidt (hockey), 2007.

The Joseph Drazenovich Award honoree is Mark Woods (Legendary Service).

The Bob Miller Award will go to Claudia Steeb (Outstanding Supporter of North Allegheny athletics).

The Bob Austen Award winner is rifle coach Dave McDonald (Distinguished Coaching Award).

North Allegheny also will recognize its PIAA champions from the past school year.
