North Allegheny blanks Bethel Park to reach PIAA baseball playoffs

Ryan Partridge allowed one hit over five innings to lead No. 4-seeded North Allegheny to a 3-0 victory over No. 3 Bethel Park in the WPIAL Class 6A consolation baseball game Tuesday night at Washington & Jefferson’s Ross Memorial Park.
Dayton commit Anthony Hattrup knocked in two runs, and Duke recruit Logan Andreyko also had an RBI, all in the first inning, for the Tigers (17-6).
North Allegheny advances to the PIAA tournament, where it will play the District 6 or 10 champion Monday at a time and site to be determined.
Eric Chalus threw a complete-game four-hitter with 14 strikeouts for Bethel Park (15-5).
