Vincentian Academy’s Kyler Fedko added a national baseball honor Tuesday when MaxPreps named him as a Small School All-American.

Fedko batted .661 with eight home runs, 46 runs and 40 RBIs for the Royals, who won WPIAL and PIAA Class A titles. The shortstop was among 31 first-team selections , a list that included eight infielders.

He was previously named Pennsylvania Player of the Year by both PerfectGame and USA Today , and was a member of the TribLive HSSN’s Trib 10 .

MaxPreps considered small schools as those “that participate in state enrollment divisions with generally less than 1,000 students.” Fedko was the only Pennsylvania player chosen for the first team.

Rocky Grove pitcher Travis Perry of Franklin was a second-team pick.
