Ligonier Valley will go for a double-dip next week.

The Rams’ baseball and softball teams will play for District 6 Heritage Conference championships.

The baseball team (13-2), under first-year coach Brett Marabito, won the South Division and faces North champ West Shamokin (12-0) at 7 p.m. Monday at First Commonwealth Field at Homer-Center Booster Complex.

The Rams’ softball team (15-2), meantime, will look to follow a South Division title with a conference crown as they host North winner Marion Center (13-0) at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The winners move on to the District 6 tournament. The top eight teams in Class 3A advance.

Tickets for each conference final are $4 for adults and $2 for students.
