High school roundup: Snyder sets school record as Moon tops West Allegheny

Delaney Snyder scored a hat trick to lead No. 1-ranked Moon to a 6-1 victory over West Allegheny on Monday night, and she also etched her name atop the Tigers girls soccer team record book.
Snyder set the school’s career scoring record by tallying her 93rd goal as Moon improved to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in Section 4-AAA.

West Allegheny fell to 2-3, 1-2. The previous record was 91.
North Allegheny 2, Seneca Valley 1 (OT) — Morgan Anderson scored in overtime, and Emma Bundy also scored to help North Allegheny (3-1, 1-0) to a Section 1-AAAA win.
Canon-McMillan 3, Upper St. Clair 2 — Lizzie Ross, Annabel Thomas and Addie Roman all scored for No. 3 Canon-McMillan (2-0, 1-0) in a Section 2-AAAA win over No. 4 Upper St. Clair (1-3-1, 0-1).
Nikki Gibbons and Hailee Perri scored, and Mia Snyder had two assists for the Panthers.
Peters Township 6, Baldwin 0 — Regan LaVigna and Hanna Stuck each scored twice, and Kaila McFerran and Bree Latsko added goals as No. 2 Peters Township (5-0, 1-0) earned a Section 2-AAAA victory.
Oakland Catholic 2, Ringgold 0 — Tori Calhoun and Sophia Rizzo scored to lift Oakland Catholic (2-1, 2-1) to a Section 3-AAA win.
South Fayette 2, Hopewell 1 — Rachel Weis and Rachel Helbling scored to lead South Fayette (3-0-2, 2-0-1) to a Section 4-AAA win. Sara Meindl had an assist for the Lions.
Raychel Speicher scored for Hopewell (1-2, 1-2).
