High school roundup for Feb. 14, 2024: Allderdice takes place in City League title game

Logan Golle and Ma’ayan Kohai each scored 15 points to lead Allderdice to a 76-46 victory over Carrick in the City League semifinals Wednesday.

Keiylan Walden added 10 points for the Dragons (19-4). Ray Saunders scored 16 points and Brayden Fisher added 12 for Carrick (9-14).

Allderdice will meet Obama Academy in the City League finals at 2 p.m. Sunday at Duquesne’s UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.

Obama Academy (10-10) took a 75-41 victory over Brashear (9-11) in the other semifinal Wednesday.

The same two teams will meet in the girls championship game at noon Sunday at Cooper Fieldhouse.

In the semifinals Wednesday, Allderdice (12-9) earned a 58-28 win over Brashear (11-11) and Obama Academy (12-7) ran to a 52-41 win over Westinghouse (9-10).

Propel Andrew Street 52, Trinity Christian 45 – Darryl McCullough scored 18 points, Maurice Lowry and Ahmir Calhoun added 13 points each, and Propel Andrew Street used a 25-point fourth quarter to win in the Southwestern Pennsylvania Athletic Association semifinals. Will Nelson scored 15 points and Darnell Kite added 10 for Trinity Christian.
