Alex Parise and Jeven Kelly scored to lead Peters Township (2-0) to a 2-0 victory over Norwin (1-1) in nonsection boys soccer Tuesday night.
Avonworth 12, Riverside 0 – Abdul Basit had three goals and two assists to lead Avonworth (1-0, 1-0) to a Section 2-2A win over Riverside (0-1, 0-1).
Belle Vernon 2, Uniontown 0 – Trevor Kovatch scored twice and Morgan Bunch recorded his first career shutout as Belle Vernon (1-0, 1-0) beat Uniontown (0-1, 0-1) in a Section 3-3A match shortened to 48 minutes by lightning. Anthony Sawa and Jackson Pressel had assists for the Leopards.
Beth-Center 3, Preston (WV) 0 – Parker Amos had a goal and two assists and Nekoda Bundy and Evan Lowman added a goal apiece for Beth-Center (1-0) in a nonsection win over Preston (WV).
Burrell 7, Leechburg 0 – Billy Kowalkowski had a goal and three assists for Burrell (1-0, 1-0) in a Section 1-2A win over Leechburg (0-2, 0-1). Vincent Guerrini, Adam Scheftic, Calio Zanella, Parker Pruitt, Ashton Anderson and Riley Anthony also scored for the Bucs.
Canon-McMillan 3, Fox Chapel 3 – Gavin Patterson scored twice and Roman Pasquarelli added a goal as Canon-McMillan (1-0-1) rallied from a 3-0 deficit for a nonsection draw with Fox Chapel (0-0-1).
Central Valley 5, Mohawk 0 – Owen Shearer scored two goals to lead Central Valley (3-0, 1-0) past Mohawk (0-1, 0-1) in a Section 2-2A win.
Chartiers Valley 10, Bishop Canevin 0 – John Krug had a hat trick, Jonah Mastren-Williams scored twice and Sean Walsh and Evan Cyprowski combined on the shutout to lead Chartiers Valley (1-0) to a nonsection win over Bishop Caenvin (0-2).
Deer Lakes 1, North Catholic 0 – Connor Moore scored for Deer Lakes (2-0, 1-0) in a Section 1-2A win over North Catholic (1-2, 0-1).
Elizabeth Forward 7, South Allegheny 0 – Luca Valerio had a hat trick, Aidan Davis scored twice and Vinny Riccardi and Levi George added goals as Elizabeth Forward (1-1, 1-0) beat South Allegheny (1-2, 0-1) in Section 3-2A. Matt Johnston and Nick Moffa combined on the shutout.
Gateway 4, Butler 3 (OT) – James LoCoco had a hat trick and added an assist for Gateway (1-1) in a nonsection win over Butler (1-1).
Greensburg Central Catholic 1, Eden Christian 1 – Andrew McIntyre scored to help Greensburg Central Catholic to a nonsection draw with Eden Christian (0-0-1). Gavin Rigby recorded an assist and Isaac House made 14 saves for the Centurions (0-0-1).
Highlands 17, Valley 1 – Ryan Maloney collected seven goals and four assists to lead Highlands (1-0, 1-0) past Valley (0-1, 0-1) in Section 1-2A. Cainen McCann had two goals and three assists, Brady Celko netted four goals and Garrett Snow scored twice for the Golden Rams.
Indiana 5, Obama Academy 0 – Russell Crane had a hat trick and Grayson Brunetto and Tyler Hunter also scored for Indiana (3-0, 1-0) in a Section 1-3A win over Obama Academy (1-1, 0-1).
Keystone Oaks 12, Ellwood City 0 – Truman Wawrzeniak had a hat trick for Keystone Oaks (1-0, 1-0) in a Section 2-2A win over Ellwood City (0-1, 0-1).
Latrobe 3, West Mifflin 1 – Roman Agostoni had two goals, John Massaro also scored and Warren Agostoni dished out two assists to lead Latrobe (1-1, 1-0) to a Section 3-3A win. Austin Kurta scored for West Mifflin (0-1, 0-1).
McGuffey 3, Steel Valley 0 – Larry Goodman, Nate Kler and Jeremiah Butterfield scored a goal apiece to lead McGuffey (3-0, 1-0) to a Section 3-2A win over Steel Valley (0-1, 0-1).

Mt. Pleasant 10, Brownsville 0 – Aiden Johnson recorded a hat trick and two assists while Tyler Kurtz added a pair of goals and assists apiece as Mt. Pleasant (2-0, 1-0) cruised past Brownsville (0-1, 0-1) in Section 4-2A.

Trinity Christian 4, Beaver County Christian 1 – Luke Schellhase scored a pair of goals to pace Trinity Christian (1-1) to a nonsection win. Tyler Guevara scored for Beaver County Christian (1-1).

Beaver 3, Quaker Valley 1 – Kailyn Connelly had 15 kills and Anna Vinopal and Kayden Blinn added eight kills apiece to lead Beaver past Quaker Valley in a nonsection match.
Burgettstown 3, South Side 1 – Savanna Rush had seven kills and 13 aces and Layla Sherman also recorded seven kills to lead Burgettstown to a nonsection win. Abbie Sell had four blocks and Peyton Mermon dished out 25 assists for the Blue Devils.
Canon McMillan 3, South Fayette 1 – Natalie Carr had 11 kills and Abby Tucker added eight kills for Canon McMillan in a nonsection win over South Fayette.
Carmichaels 3, Chartiers-Houston 0 – Bailey Barnyak had 10 kills and 10 digs, Avery Voithofer collected 23 assists, 10 digs and four kills and Ashton Batis had 25 digs to lead Carmichaels to a nonsection win.
Franklin Regional 3, Norwin 2 – Carson Burgh had 10 kills, Maria Piraino added 17 digs and Averi Lamfrom served four aces to lead Franklin Regional to a nonsection win.
Hampton 3, Kiski 1 – Payton Galietti had 18 kills and Marin Katona-Bock added 17 kills for Hampton in a win over Kiski in a nonsection match.
Laurel Highlands 3, Frazier 1 – Alexandra Mattey had 16 kills and 17 digs to lead Laurel Highlands to a nonsection win. Jayna Fabrey added 22 digs, Lucy Baker had 11 digs and six kills, Sara Reed dished out 14 assists and Yelena Ford had 13 assists.
Moon 3, Elizabeth Forward 0 – Alicia DeCarla had a team high five kills and Elina Antoniades had 14 assists to lead Moon to a sweep over Elizabeth Forward.
New Brighton 3, Western Beaver 0 – Alaya Mckenzie had five kills, Sundi Fazio handed out nine assists, Chloe Huddy recorded eight digs and Sundi Fazio and Karmen Briancesco each had five aces to lead New Brighton to a nonsection win.
St. Joseph 3, Serra Catholic 0 – Kate Giannetta had eight kills and Mackenzie Jones added seven kills to lead St. Joseph to a victory over Serra Catholic in a nonsection match.
Field hockey
Penn-Trafford 1, Shady Side Academy 0 – Liz Welsh scored the winning goal in the fourth quarter, assisted by Brooke Bauer, to lead Penn-Trafford to a nonsection win.
