Molly Skvorak, a junior on the Shady Side Academy girls soccer team, has been outstanding in goal all season as the Indians try to repeat as PIAA champions.

She also is on the SSA basketball and softball teams. She began playing soccer at age 6.

“My brother played as a kid, and that made me want to join a league,” she said.

She is unsure of her college plans as of yet.

Here’s a closer look at Skvorak:

What’s the best book you’ve ever read?

Probably “A People’s History of the United States” by Howard Zinn. I would also highly recommend “A Lesson Before Dying” by Ernest Gaines. Those two are worth a read.

If you could go somewhere you’ve never been, where would you go?

I have never seen the Great Barrier Reef, and I would love to go before all of the corral is completely bleached. Going to space would also be cool.

Do you watch any of the reality shows?

I watch the news, so I feel like that counts.

What movie could you watch over and over?

“The Big Lebowski” is probably my go to, but as I get further along in my high school career, “Clueless” has become a staple for me.

Have you ever gone to a movie that was so bad that you felt like walking out?

I went and saw the first Jurassic World movie and was blown away. The second one was not as good, but sequels rarely are. Then I went to the most recent one to give the movies another chance and was so disappointed that I wanted to leave early. Why make a movie about dinosaurs and not even feature the underwater ones, which are definitely the coolest?

Who is your favorite Pittsburgh athlete?

Without a doubt, Antonio Brown. A close second would be all of my teammates.

Since we’re nearing Thanksgiving, what’s your favorite Thanksgiving dinner food?

Whatever my mom makes usually turns out pretty good. Thanks Mom!

Who would be your dream date?

Prince Harry, because if it went well, I could become part of the royal family.

What is your favorite class at school?

I honestly enjoy them all around the same.

What would make up your favorite all-time meal?

I like soups that come in bread bowls. This is an excellent way to not only enjoy a delicious food, but also to reduce disposable waste.

Is there a food you refuse to eat?

No, but I try and stay away from foods with high carbon.

What is your favorite TV show?

The news gets pretty wild. CNN did this bit on suburban housewives and their political opinions that I thoroughly enjoyed.

What junk food do you have a weakness for?

The orange Kit-Kats get me every time.

What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?

I have always wanted to go see Beyoncé.

What three famous people would you like to gave dinner with?

Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and John Cena.

People would be surprised to know that you …
