Hart helps Shady Side Academy softball to 5-2 start

Kate Hart, a junior on the Shady Side Academy softball team, has helped the team make a run at a playoff spot. In a 4-3 win over Section 2-2A foe Apollo-Ridge on April 26, she allowed four hits in earning the win and also stroked a pair of doubles and a single. In a 13-0 section win over Springdale on April 30, she struck out nine in five innings to pick up another win for the Indians (5-2, 5-2). Here's a closer look at this week's Spotlight Athlete:
