Two WPIAL softball teams exited this week’s Trib HSSN state rankings with only one district team joining the state elite.
Both North Allegheny in Class 6A and Chartiers-Houston in 2A were bounced from the weekly Top 5, while Frazier entered at No. 4 in Class 2A after a big section win over Chartiers-Houston.
Penn-Trafford moved up two spots to No. 3 in Class 5A, while Avonworth in 3A and West Greene in A remain at No. 2 this week.
