Franklin Regional baseball, softball players earn postseason recognition

Panthers receive all-section awards
Franklin Regional athletes were well-represented on baseball and softball all-section teams.
Softball
Senior outfielder Christina Kemerer, junior infielder Mallory Halleck and junior pitcher Angalee Beall were first-team selections in Section 1-5A.
Junior infielder Mariah DeRiggi was named to the second team.
Baseball
Franklin Regional senior pitcher Alex Frey was the Panthers' lone first-team honoree in Section 3-5A. Junior outfielder Michael Klingensmith was a second-team selection.
Earning honorable mention recognition were freshmen infielders Louie Kegerreis and Andrew Muraco.
