Fox Chapel and Central Valley Win First Ever WPIAL Girls Team Golf D-I and D-II Titles

It was a historic day for WPIAL girl's golf Thursday at the Cedarbrook Golf Club in Belle Vernon. On the first year the district crowned two champions instead of one, Fox Chapel won gold for the first time in school history led by the first family of girl's golf, Nadia and Katerina Luttner. Nadia won the individual championship in 2008 and 2009 while Katerina took the individual title last week. Meanwhile, only two months into the schools first ever year, Central Valley has a WPIAL championship after finishing first in the Division II field.

Girls scored best 4 of 5 players. Fox Chapel Foxes had the lowest overall score in both divisions so they will advance to participate in PIAA Western Regional at Tom's Run Golf Course on Monday, October 18th at 9:00am.
