■ JEANNETTE 28, IMANI CHRISTIAN 12 The No. 1 Jayhawks showed the No. 2 Saints that to road to the WPIAL Class A title runs through Jeannette with a 28-12 Eastern Conference victory.
■ SHADY SIDE ACADEMY 43, VALLEY 14 Skyy Moore passed for 180 yards and three touchdowns, all to Dino Tomlin, and rushed for 126 yards and another score.
■ THOMAS JEFFERSON 36, BELLE VERNON 14 An early-season battle between the top two WPIAL teams in Class 4A turned into a decisive victory for top-ranked Thomas Jefferson.
