There are only a couple of make-up matches left in section play in WPIAL girls soccer. The top four teams in each section qualify for the district playoffs. All teams tied for a playoff spot in which head-to-head does not break the tie all qualify for the postseason.

Casey Breier scored the overtime winner as Peters Township (15-1-1, 12-1-1) clinched a share of the Section 2-AAAA girls soccer title with a 3-2 victory over Canon-McMillan (12-6, 8-6) on Monday night. Jill Marvin scored a pair of goals for Peters Township. Kaila McFerran set up the winning goal.

Cole Thomas scored a pair of second-half goals to lead Baldwin (6-10-1, 5-7) past Bethel Park (5-8-2, 3-8-1) in a critical late season boys soccer match in Section 3-AAAA Thursday night. With the win, Baldwin clinched a berth in the WPIAL playoffs. Joey Moeller also scored for the Highlanders.
