Upper St. Clair’s Slinger commits to wrestle at George Mason

Upper St. Clair senior Jake Slinger made a verbal commitment to wrestle at George Mason on Monday.
Slinger picked George University over offers from Pitt, West Virginia and North Carolina State.
He will compete in the heavyweight class.
Slinger was 36-5 in 2017-18 while competing at 220 pounds. He placed second in the WPIAL Class AAA tournament and was seventh in the PIAA.
His career record is 99-25.
