The winner goes to the PIAA playoffs.
Softball
A game that didn't happen late in the regular season because of rain will get another chance as Mt. Pleasant (16-1) faces Yough (16-4) in the WPIAL Class 4A third-place game. Both teams lost in the semifinals. Belle Vernon edged Mt. Pleasant, 1-0, and Elizabeth Forward topped Yough, 7-2.
