Class AAA

No. 8 Plum (7-11) vs. No. 1 Peters Township (14-4)

Winner plays: No. 4 North Allegheny (11-5-2)/No. 5 Butler (10-7-1), 7:15 p.m. March 15 at RMU Island Sports Center.

One-timers: Plum, the defending Class AA champion, finished 5-3 down the stretch to earn a spot in the playoffs. Domenic Boriello led the Mustangs with eight goals and Anthony Adamski was tops in points with 15. The Mustangs scored 39 goals, the fewest in Class AAA. Plum ranks fifth on the penalty kill at 86.1 percent. … Peters Township, the defending Class AAA champion, sports one of the stingiest defenses in the class, allowing only 2.28 goals per game. The Indians have had four goalies split time, but Alex Wilbert leads the team in starts with seven and has a .921 save percentage. Torrey Schwartz and Conner Gielarowski tied for the team lead in points with 24.

Class A

No. 12 Kiski Area (10-10) vs. No. 5 Indiana (15-4-1)

7:30 p.m. Tuesday at S&T Bank Arena in Indiana

Winner plays: No. 4 West Allegheny (16-4), 9 p.m. Thursday at Baierl Ice Complex in Warrendale.

One-timers:Kiski Area punched its ticket to a third consecutive postseason berth with a 6-3 win over Deer Lakes in its regular-season finale. Senior forward Austin LaPiana has been one of the most dynamic players in the class over the last two years, amassing 70 goals and 103 points. He had 39 goals this season. The Cavaliers allowed 106 goals and 5 goals per game, the worst among playoff teams. … Indiana, which lost to Franklin Regional in the Class A final last year, dropped two of its last three games, the lone victory being a 5-4 triumph over Kiski Area. Tyler Barker leads the team in goals with 24 and ranked 10th in points with 43. His sister, Madison, sports a 13-5 record with a .876 save percentage. Zachary Eisenhower has 17 goals and 12 assists for the Indians.
