A-K Valley players to watch for Week 5

Logan Bitar

Burrell, jr., RB/DB

Bitar (5-11, 170) is the workhorse for the Bucs’ offense with 778 yards rushing and five TDs on 105 carries. Last week against Apollo-Ridge, he collected 210 yards and a TD.

Jake Fello

Apollo-Ridge, fr., QB/WR/DB

Normally a wide receiver, Fello (5-7, 190) made his first start at quarterback last week, filling in for the injured Kyle Fitzroy. He collected 66 total yards on offense, and added four tackles and an interception on defense and returned kicks to help Apollo-Ridge top Burrell, 28-19.

Conor Selinger

Freeport, jr., RB/LB

Selinger (5-9, 180) reached a season-best of 18 carries and tallied 87 yards rushing in a win over Shady Side Academy. He has 45 carries, 251 yards and two TDs, plus 36 stops on defense.

Devin Wilks

Springdale, sr., WR/CB

Wilks (6-0, 160) broke out last week against Leechburg with 100 yards receiving and a touchdown. The TD opened the scoring and helped boost the Dynamos to a rout. Wilks is the fourth Springdale receiver to record a touchdown this season.
