OC’s Smith, P-R’s Murslack, MtL’s Nappi and NA’s Kuremsky Win PIAA Class AAA Swimming and Diving Gold

After being blanked on Day One on Friday, Saturday turned out to be a golden day for four WPIAL swimmers at the 2011 PIAA Class AAA Swimming and Diving championships at Bucknell University. Oakland Catholic's Leah Smith set a record in the 500-yard freestyle while Kristen Murslack of Pine-Richland won gold in the 100-yard breaststroke. For the guys, John Nappi of Mount Lebanon won the 500-yard freestyle while North Allegheny's Connor Kuremsky took the one-meter diving championship. Here are results from both the girls and boys state swimming championships from Friday and Saturday.
