Gateway, Montour, Monessen and Vincentian Win 2011 WPIAL Boys Basketball Titles

2011 turns into the yeaqr of virgin winners. With Gateway beating Chartiers Valley in Class AAAA, Montour beating top-seed South Fayette in Class AAA and Vincentian Academy taking care of Lincoln Park in Class A, championship weekend sees three school lift the golden ball for the first time in school history. The only winner with a history of titles is Monessen, as they knock off top-seed Greensburg Central Catholic for their fifth boys basketball crown.
