The MSA Sports Network is proud to bring back a feature program dedicated to WPIAL girls’ volleyball. This fall, the Elite Eight is back with broadcasts and features focused on eight elite district programs.
The network would first like to thank the man who got the ball rolling on this program, Jonathan Whaley. He is admired throughout the girls’ volleyball community for his outstanding work over the last three years of bringing WPIAL girls volleyball much needed media attention.
Josh Rowntree, with some help from Sam Hall and Mike Azadian will run the program this year featuring these eight schools:
Baldwin Highlanders
Moon Tigers
Peters Township Indians
Upper St. Clair Panthers
West Allegheny Indians
Bishop Canevin Crusaders
Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers
South Side Rams
Players from these eight girls’ volleyball programs will be featured this fall on MSA Sports Center stage, plus they’ll be honored for their work in the classroom as well as on the court.
Also, Josh will host a show from 6pm to 7pm on Monday night from September 26th through October 17th with interviews and updates on the progress of the Elite Eight programs during the 2011 campaign.
