2013 WPIAL Girls Singles Tennis Playoffs Recap

The battle for the first district championship of the 2013-2014 school year did not come easy as both winners needed three sets Thursday in the finals of the 2013 WPIAL Girls Singles Tennis Playoffs. Top-seed Callie Frey of Mount Lebanon made it back-to-back Class AAA titles with a comeback victory over Marlys Bridgham while Samantha Gohh won the all Sewickley Academy finals match with a comeback win over Panthers teammate Sydney Miggantz.
