Moon Wins Back-to-Back WPIAL Gymnastics Gold

For the second consecutive year and the third time in school history, the Moon Tigers are wearing WPIAL Girls Gymnastics Gold after they captured the team title in their own gym Saturday afternoon. The win for Moon is their third district crown in six years. 

Baldwin placed second in the team overall standings, followed by Hopewell, South Side, Fox Chapel and Pine-Richland.

Moon shined in the Intermediate Division I with a gold medal performances by Leah Hogle on the Vault, the Bars and the All-Around while Jessica Schreiber took first on the Beam. The Tigers Sarah Haslett won gold in both the Vault and the All-Around in the Advanced Division while Victoria Priola was first on the Beam in Division II.

Also in D-II, Emma Lucas captured gold on the Bars and in the All-Around.
