League scoring leader Ryan Saginaw of undefeated Bishop Canevin was among the four senior forwards selected as the PIHL’s players of the month for January.

The other top players are Evan Benscoter of Central Catholic (Class 3A), Andrew Oliver of Thomas Jefferson (2A), and Jack Lorence of Richland (A).

Saginaw had 12 goals and 11 assists last month for Bishop Canevin (17-0-0-0), which has 138 goals. He has accounted for 10 points on the power play.

Thomas Jefferson (16-2-0-0) is the first-place team in 2A thanks in large part to Oliver, who had seven goals and eight assists last month. He has 17 goals and 20 assists for 37 points.
