Plum, Bethel Park remain undefeated in Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Softball League play

Plum and Bethel Park are the only undefeated teams left after two weeks of the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Softball League season.

Plum swept Seneca Valley on Sunday, 16-1 and 19-4, to move to 4-0. The Mustangs have outscored their opponents 67-9.

Bethel Park is 3-0, scoring 35 runs and posting shutouts in all three games.

Hempfield (2-2) and Shaler (2-2) both tallied doubleheader sweeps on Sunday after getting swept themselves in Week 1.

North Allegheny (3-1) and Mt. Lebanon (3-1) lost for the first time in doubleheader splits with Montour and West Allegheny, respectively.

The Tigers and Blue Devils will match up this Sunday at Marshall Middle School.
