Only two teams fell out of the state rankings in another clean week for most of the top programs, however a second WPIAL team moved to the pole position heading down the stretch run of the regular season.
Following an 0-2 week for Mastery Charter North, Mars leap frogged the Pumas for the No. 1 spot in Class 5A.
While the Fightin’ Planets moved up, a pair of WPIAL teams slipped a notch after losses this past week.
Moon dropped from No. 3 to 4 in Class 5A after suffering its first loss of the season last week to Chartiers Valley. Moon bounced back Saturday to edge Lincoln Park as the Leopards fell to No. 4 in Class 3A.
Falling out of the Trib HSSN state rankings this week were West Chester East in 5A and Shanksville-Stonycreek in Class A, replaced by Lampeter Strasburg 19-1, and Conestoga Christian School 17-1, respectively.
