Whether you are a fan of your local district team or you like to know what’s going on in boys’ high school basketball around Pennsylvania, the TribLive High School Sports Network has you covered this winter.
We rank the top WPIAL teams in each class every Sunday and follow with our PIAA rankings every Tuesday during the high school basketball season.
There was little movement in the lowest three classifications, but the upper classifications feature three new teams.
We say ‘goodbye’ to Norristown in Class 6A, York William Penn in 5A and Quaker Valley in 4A.
We say ‘hello’ to Coatesville, Pottsville and unbeaten Huntingdon.
Five WPIAL teams remain after Quaker Valley dropped from the rankings. Undefeated Moon moves up a spot in Class 5A behind Mars. Lincoln Park still tops 3A and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart replaces Sewickley Academy at No. 2 in 2A after the Chargers head-to-head win last week. The Panthers fell from No. 2 to No. 5.
