2016 WPIAL TEAM WRESTLING PLAYOFF RESULTS

The mat dynasty run has reached double digits. The Burrell Buccaneers continued their record run of WPIAL Class AA Team Wrestling championships with victories over South Fayette in the Semifinals and Freedom in the Finals Saturday at Chartiers-Houston High School to claim a tenth consecutive crown and 12th in school history. Meanwhile in the Class AAA Semifinals and Finals at Penn Hills High School, top-seed Belle Vernon swept past North Allegheny and Canon-McMillan for the schools first ever team wrestling title.
