2011 WPIAL Girls Doubles Tennis Sectional Results

Last week, the WPIAL crowned its Girls Single Tennis Champions in both Class AAA and Class AA. Now the field is set for the 2011 WPIAL Girls Doubles Tennis Playoffs following Friday's sectionals in which the top three players from each section advance. 

 

SECTION 1-AAA
CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Stacia Kissell & Devon Gjebre (Latrobe) def. Charlotte Vestes & Nicole Paul (Penn-Trafford), 6-2, 6-4.

CONSOLATION FINAL
Lauren Bailey & Nicole Sopcak (Franklin Regional) def. Allie Scanlon & Carly Bryan (Hempfield), 6-3, 6-1.
 

SECTION 2-AAA
CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Kylie Isaacs & Mikayla Becich (North Allegheny) def. Marlys Bridgham Laura Feger (Pine Richland), 6-2, 6-1.

CONSOLATION FINAL
Lucy Gloniger & Rachael Harrison (Hampton) def. Kaitlyn Craig & Brianna Beck (Mars), 7-5, 6-2.
